Waterbury Plant Tour-October 6, 2000

The city of Waterbury in conjunction with the Education Coalition Subcommittee of the Connecticut Water Pollution Abatement Association sponsored a tour of their recently upgraded facility on Thursday October 6, 2000. Superintendent Stephen Vold and the Engineering firm of CDM put together a fine presentation and tour.
There were over 40 persons in attendance from Simsbury to Stamford . Keith Kelly the Project manager for CDM took us all through the challenging aspects  of the construction phase and all of the obstacles that pop up along the way. A great lunch was provided and an opportunity for questions and answers followed. It was evident that some great exchanges of information and knowledge were taking place.
The Education Coalition has three Tours / Technical presentations scheduled for the future. Please stay tuned to our site for more events.

See you next tour!                                                                                         -Article by Art Enderle
